New full time academy!
The new World Health program will include up to 5 hours of training a day. The new program lead by Charlie McLean will include all components of training needed for athletes to succeed.
Annual planning, tournament preparation and travel, schedules, individual physical development programs, technical analysis, specialized mental and tactical training.
Building a high level performance environment is essential for players to succeed. Players selected to attend the program will all show a high level of dedication, discipline and desire to train and perform.
Some of the achievements from academy players include:
- Canadian national squad members
- Number 1 ranked player in Canada
- Several Top 8 finishes at the national championships
- Multiple provincial titles
- Main draw Orange Bowl and Prince Cup
- Number 1 ranked players in Alberta Members of the provincial teams

• Congratulations to Maya Dukaric and Matush Polakovic for being selected to attend a tennis Canada training camp in Toronto. This 4 day training camp with U12 national coach, Andre LaBelle and Bob Brett, will be excellent opportunity to train with some of the best young players in the country.
• Ashleigh Jacobs and Maya Dukaric take the titles!!! Ashleigh and Maya clean up at the indoor provincial championships 2012. Maya cleaned up her age group and won the U12 singles and doubles titles with fellow team mate Karin Hamilton. Ashleigh did her part and only lost 2 games to take her U14 singles title and partnered up with Maya to win the U14's doubles title. Ally Miller came third in both U16 and U18 singles championships and won the U16 doubles title! Matush Polakovic was runner up in both U12 singles and doubles. An excellent indoor season wrapped up with titles!

• Charlie will be away with Tennis Canada on Thursday 9th to 11th February and Tuesday 6th to 11th March. All programs will be running as usual.
